This will be an exhibition is photos, as there has been too much going on to put into words.
Tonight we have an almost full house, some being reservations previously made and others getting off the road due to weather. This is the center row; there are rows on either side of this one but you can’t see them in the photo.
Dave has been doing a ton of grounds maintenance, including getting Kamp K9 lookin’ good!
Annual visit by KOA Quality Team – isn’t that some rig?
Office front porch is the site of some good conversations
Tent sites are also lookin’ good!
Dave spent today working on the back-in sites on the row where we are, mowing/trimming/blowing the sites clean
Although we have a lot of trees, there are sites in the open, too
We have had an insane amount of rain ever since we have been here, which is all of April. There have only been literally a couple of days with no rain whatsoever. This evening we may get severe storms; I am really hoping this nasty weather that has been wreaking havoc over parts of Texas will bypass us. We had quite a few walk-in registrations today because of the weather.
Needless to say, we have been staying very busy. We are both quite fit right now with all the physical activity we are doing these days. Can you believe I have lost 10 pounds since our return to Texas about a month ago? Dave has dropped a few, too.
Well, it’s after 9 PM now, so I’ll post this. Just wanted to get an update of some sort out here.
Thanks for stopping by!

I've been wondering how it's been going for you two. Glad you 'checked' in. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm staying with my honey in an RV park, and it's like I'm not even hoi polloi anymore. Excuse me, where is the spa? Send over a piƱa colada, please. Okay, it's just two days, but I'm adaptable.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're settled in. How is your weather? We've been having big thunderstorms in San Antonio. Our site flooded today. Water was up to the bottom step. It's mostly drained now and we no longer have to wade in it.
ReplyDeleteI work at Travelers World Carefree RV Resort in San Antonio. C'mon over and check out our Facebook page. I'm checking out yours now. Someone else used to be in charge of the Facebook page, but she moved to Minnesota, so I asked to take it over and they let me. I've been doing it since last fall. I work in the office, take reservations check guests in and out, sell merchandise, make check-in packets, make tour reservations, put quarters in rolls for the laundry, dust, and whatever else needs to be done. I love it!
